Nintendo Switch Top Ten List 7

10 More Games I Want To See On The Switch!

Spread the Word!

I previously wrote an article called “10 Games I Want To See On The Switch!” After owning my Switch for a few months now I’ve come with 10 more games I want to see on this thing and I expect this list to get as crazy as the last one.

10. Skull Girls

I’ve owned Skull Girls for years now, but I never played it until recently. This game is great and I would love to see it on the Switch one day. Maybe after the devs are finished with their upcoming title they’ll go back and port this one.

9. Darkest Dungeon

The devs have shown interest when asked about a possible port to the Nintendo Switch on Twitter. All they have to do now is start making the game. Bring Darkest Dungeon to the Switch and make me happy :).

8. Tales of Berseria

Namco Bandai is currently working a new Tales of game for the Switch. How about porting this one over to keep us all busy while you take your time with the new one? You’ll make us happy and you’ll be happy too because it’s more money in your pockets. Everyone wins right?

7. Bravely Third

I’m still new to the Bravely series, but the only game I’ve played in it was enough for me to add the next installment to my list. The developers of this game are working on Project Octopath (that name…) and if everything goes well I don’t see why the next Bravely game would be far off.

6. Starbound

I haven’t played Starbound since my save file got corrupted somehow. If it was to release for the Switch I would gladly start a new file and play again. I’ll be back to building my torture chambers in no time.

5. Death’s Gambit

How many Metroidvania’s do we have for the Switch right now that isn’t really old? Death’s Gambit could make a big splash on the Switch and be super successful too. I’ve been looking forward to this game since it was announced years ago and I plan on buying it on PC. I would buy it for the Switch too so I could play it on the go.

4. Diablo III

Diablo III is on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. The Switch could easily run this game in 1080p and having the chance to play it on the go would be awesome. Add four player local co op and you’ve got yourself a smash hit. There are no games like Diablo on the Switch right now and it would be huge if Blizzard decided to take a chance on Nintendo’s new platform.

3. Borderlands 2

I want the Handsome Jack Collection to make its way to the Switch. There are no FPS games on the Switch right now. Borderlands would be huge if it released because it’s not just an FPS game. It’s an FPS/RPG hybrid and it’s one of the best co op games ever made.

2. The Elder Scrolls Online

What better way to show people that you’re serious about your online service then bringing one of the biggest MMOs around to your platform. Dragon Quest 10 will probably be exclusive to Japan forever and you need to have something to offer your Western market. Why not ESO? I wouldn’t be happy to start from scratch, but I’ll do it just to support the game on a new platform.

1. The Elder Scrolls Legends

The Switch is the perfect console for any card game because of it’s touch screen. You won’t even need a controller if Bethesda takes advantage of the Switch’s unique features. They can port the tablet version of the game to the Switch and it would work perfectly and I would gladly drop 100 hours into it.

What are some games you want to see on the Nintendo Switch in the future?

I really hate the fragmented d-pad on the JoyCon for fighting games and 2D platformers, but that’s a non-issue with the Pro controller — so Skullgirls would be a great pick. Divekick wouldn’t be too shabby either, especially with the simple two-button controls making it ideal for independent JoyCon local play.

Great picks, dude! I’d love to see Persona 5, Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, Undertale, ports of the 3DS’s Shin Megami Tensei IV/IV: Apocalypse, Dragon Quest VII & VIII, Ocarina and Majora 3D, and both Mega Man Legacy Collections.

I have a few of the games you mentioned on my first list :).

The pro controller makes a huge difference. I’ve never played Divekick. Looks cool though.

If they released Bravely Third on the Switch I would probably buy the console. Loved the previous two games.

Bravely Third, Metroid, Pokemon, and Monster Hunter are all system sellers to me. Especially Pokemon lol.

Death’s Gambit isn’t released yet. Probably won’t be until next year and right now it’s a PC exclusive. Diablo III would be so good on the go. The Switch needs a good dungeon crawler.
