Meridian: New World Enters Early Access Phase 2 On May 5th

I had a chance to interview Ede Tarsoly last month about his game, Meridian: New World. Meridian: New World is a RTS game that’s very similar to Star Craft. I’ll link my first impression of the game down below. Meridian: New World is about to enter it’s second phase of early access in a few days. To celebrate this event Ede Tarsoly himself will be showing off his skills at his own game while he hosts an AMA session [Ask me anything] . His live stream will be on http://twitch.tv/Elder_Games. This will happen on tomorrow at 5 p.m. CET / 4 p.m. GMT / 11 a.m. EST / 8 a.m. PST.

There is a host of new content being added into phase 2 of Meridian: New World.

– missions 4 and 5 of the campaign
– 14 new unlockable achievements
– a new unit (called the Heavy Trooper)
– a huge patch resulting from players feedback during Phase 1

Meridian: New World is becoming a very solid game. The only problems I have with the game is the camera angle and slow movement of the main character in the game. Meridian: New World is a fun game and if you’re a RTS fan than you’ll most likely enjoy it.
