Kickstarter! Amplitude by Harmonix

Hello again, Minions! This week I bring you another Kickstarter from a title you may have heard before! Harmonix is a independent game studio who have worked on titles like Rockband, Dance Central, and Guitar Hero. Ten years ago they developed a game called Amplitude, a game where the object is to synthesize the best beat to reach to highest score. If you haven’t heard of this title before, let me give you an example video:

Here we have the 2006 record of 10,711pts, an amazing feat. There have been higher scores posted but this is only an example of their PS2 lovechild. Now that they have quite a few years and titles under their belt, they wish to bring this passion project back to life and onto the PS3 and PS4 but they can’t do it alone.

Joining up on Kickstarter, they leave it up to their fan following to help revive Amplitude from the former-gen grave and dress it up to join the family at the dinner table.

With your help, I’m certain we can make our current gen more lively with some groovy tunes.

You can click here to help Harmonix meet their goal! Thank you, Minions! I’ll see you again soon!
