Netflix And Other Entertainment Apps Now Free On Xbox One – UPDATE!

Netflix and ESPN will no longer require an Xbox Live Subscription for you to enjoy them. They are now free, obviously you’ll still have to pay for Netflix, and you’ll be able to enjoy them without worrying about paying an extra bill every month. I love this move and it’s one thing that I’ve always wanted to be able to do on my Xbox One instead of pulling out my computer to do it. There is a lot of positive news to go around about the Xbox One right now and I for one am glad I decided to get one.

With the recent price cut, Games With Gold, lower priced games, and now free apps things are looking very good for the future of this console. All we need now is some more games to play and I’ll be good.

The Xbox One has sold 5 million units worldwide as of April 17.

I have no information on whether or not these are the only two free apps available on the Xbox One at this time. I will update this article as I find out more.

Don’t forget to click on that Follow Us button for the latest sports, games, movies, and more. I hope you enjoyed reading this and if you did I’ll have more for you real soon.

UPDATE: It has been confirmed that Twitch will be counted as one of the free apps on the Xbox One. That is awesome news and I might just take advantage of that if I ever decide to jump back on my console. I’ll update as I find out more.
