Xbox One Games With Gold Coming In June

Xbox One users will finally have access to Games With Gold next month. The two free games that we’ll be getting are Halo: Spartan Assault and Max: The Curse Of The Brotherhood. Honestly I’m a little disappointed by those titles, but it’s better than nothing and it will give me an excuse to play my Xbox so I’m good.

We’re also going to see some games drop in price. Forza Mortorsport 5 and Ryse: Son Of Rome will both get price cuts. Honestly that doesn’t help me at all because I already have both of those games, but they did announce that other games will be cut as well. Hopefully Metal Gear Solid gets a much needed price cut because it’s just a glorified demo and should not be 30 dollars.

It is not known if we’ll be able to keep the free games if we lose our gold subscription like you can with the Xbox 360. I hope so, but at the same time it’s no big deal to me. I’m just happy that we’re finally getting games with gold.

Microsoft has also announced an Xbox One system that does not include Kinect. Honestly I love what the Kinect can do right now, but there isn’t much need for one since there are very little games that require it. The Kinectless Xbox One will cost $400 and will be available on June 9, 2014.

Don’t forget to click on that Follow Us button for the latest sports, games, movies, and more. I hope you enjoyed reading this and if you did I’ll have more for you real soon.

  1. I think Microsoft is making a giant step in the right direction. These decisions are what people have been asking for. They will reap the benefits of doing this. How someone could live without kinect? I don’t understand (just kidding). I think they are making great progress on giving gamer’s what they want. Great post!

  2. I’ve held off from buying Halo because I knew it would eventually go in the games with gold promo, so I’m quite happy with that.
