Tecmo Koei’s Goal Is To Sell 1 Million Copies Of Hyrule Warriors

The new game from Tecmo Koei is not another Dynasty Warriors game. It’s actually a Zelda hack n slash game based in Hyrule and it looks really, really good. Tecmo Koei has gone on record and said that they hope Hyrule Warriors sells at least 1 million units.

I think it’s going to sell more than that simply because of all the hardcore Zelda fans that are going to rush out and buy the game. Lets not forget about all the Dynasty/Samurai Warriors fans out there too. I think that goal is going to be reached quite easily so Tecmo Koei can just relax and focus on Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires.

    1. Hay un montón de gente que todavía les encanta jugar Hyrule Warriors y se pone al día con regularidad. Decir que va a ser olvidado es prematuro. No me sorprendería si una secuela salió un día.

  1. Smart move on their part, as it’ll help increase Zelda’s popularity in the East, while doing the same for Dynasty Warriors in the West. Shouldn’t be too hard to reach a million copies worldwide, but I wouldn’t expect it right off the bat.

      1. Warriors Orochi 3 wasn’t only available in Japan though. It was a downloadable title here in America too. And I’m glad it’s for the Wii U to be honest.

      2. I’m with you, I love the Wii U and it was a great game. I’m just talking sales figures. I know the Wii U install base is craving something new at this point, so it’s bound to make waves when it comes out (especially since it appeals to two separate audiences, many of whom are probably fans of both). I just don’t see it storming to 1 million sales immediately, but I could always be wrong. It wouldn’t be the first time lol.

      3. I don’t think it’s going to hit 1 million instantly. I just hope it does well enough for Nintendo to do something like this again in the future.
