10 Games That Deserve A Reboot Or Sequel Part 3 – Turok

My three favorite first person shooters are Wolfenstein, Duke Nukem, and Turok. Turok did have a revamp with the Turok game that came out back in 2008, but honestly it was so far from what Turok was that it left a sour taste in my mouth after I finished the game.

Turok  has always been known to have dinosaurs in the game. Some of them will leave you alone while others would try and kill you. You even fought dinosaur men that would shoot at you with guns. Sadly the new Turok felt more like Call of Duty than an actual Turok game.

A revamp of Turok would be tricky in my opinion because I don’t just want a game that’s a throw back to old Turok games. I want a Turok game with a story. Look what Machine Games did to Wolfenstein: The New Order. I want something like that with Turok, but not without the Nazis of course.

TurokI want to run from dinosaurs and sneak around enemy camp silently taking down actual dinosaur men again. Turok literally ruled my childhood and it’s a shame that it just faded away like so many other games have before it.

The new Turok game could have a good stealth system, tons of guns, a good story, and most importantly a wide variety of enemies for us to fight. Turok needs to be a Indian and not a fucking marine that fights other space marines.

It would be a dream come true if Turok came to the new consoles and of course the PC. Until that day happens I guess I have no choice but to play the old ones for the N64 and Gamecube.
