Top 5 Weekly Skyrim Mods

This week I’m going to feature some brand new mods that haven’t been out for very long. There was a lot of them to look through, but I think these 5 are best of the bunch.

5. Eye Customization Overhaul by NerevarineKhajiit

New Eyes For Skyrim

This mod adds a ton of new eyes for you to mis and match to your liking.  The great thing about this mod is that it doesn’t add in any new textures so you can still use your favorite eye textures along with it.

4. Creepy Zombies by  FUTOSHI

Zombies In Skyrim

This mods brings zombies back to the Elder Scrolls. Zombies are added to certain areas in Skyrim, but they can still use some work to be honest. As of right now there are no sounds coming from the zombies. I would recommend tracking this mod for now, but it’s very playable in it’s current state.

3. Albion The Baron by Uschtenheim

AlbionAlbion The Baron is a sword that can be crafted under the steel category. It is both one handed and two handed. Each form requires different ingredients.

I prefer the two handed version of the sword. It’s not that weak if you upgrade it, but there are better weapons available in the game already if that matters to you.

2. Venus by  Zikoru –

Venus Venus Sword Venus Sword 2

Venus is a very detailed sword that is both one handed and two handed like the weapon I mentioned above. It uses 2048×2048 textures and comes with it’s own scabbard.

This is one of the most detailed weapon mods I’ve seen on the Nexus so far.  Both weapons can be obtained at any forge in the game under the steel category.

1. LOHS – Lanterns On Horses Saddles by h4n4 –

This mod does something that I wanted in Skyrim and that’s add lanterns on your horses. This mod works nicely with lanterns of Skyrim and if your Skyrim is like mine than you’ll need all the light you can get at night.

This is an excellent mod that’s great for immersion junkies like myself. Lanterns on horse saddles is my Skyrim mod of the week.

    1. Definitely. Skyrim happens to be my favorite open world RPG and it’s quite easy to get into.

My Skyrim might no appeal to you because I made mine really difficult, but I can recommend some really good mods if you’re into that kind of thing.

If you’re not vanilla Skyrim is great too. If you’re a fan of open world RPGs than I’ll highly recommend Skyrim.

I reviewed the game if you’re curious –

      1. Thanks I will check it. It looked fun with mods. I saw a video from IGN listing the top 10 Star Wars mods in Skyrim and I thought “Wow, you can do that”.

      2. Wow. To be honest I have been tempted to get this game solely for the mods. Playing a game where you can play as super heroes and anime characters would be awesome to do.
