PC Games In August – Sacred 3, Risen 3, And Metro

After scouring Steam for what will be coming out this month I only found three games. One of which I already own.

Sacred 3We have Sacred 3, Risen 3, and a remake of both Metro games coming out later this month. That’s it. Sacred 3 is okay, but there’s not enough content in the game to hold me over for very long.

risen-3-titan-lords-hd-wallpaper-2Risen 3 will most likely suck as bad as the last two games in the franchise did. Nothing has changed and it looks like more of the same.

Metro-Redux-Runs-at-1080p-and-60fps-on-PS4-900p-and-60fps-on-Xbox-OneThe Metro Redux games are remakes to games that we’ve already played. The only difference is some new areas have been added in the game and they’re going to be available on the Xbox One and PS4 instead of Xbox 360 and PS3.

They’re priced very generously though and that might make me get both of them. Sacred 3 and Risen 3 are both $50. I can tell you right now that Sacred 3 should have been about $20-25 and I know Risen 3 isn’t worth the price tag either.

I honestly don’t know why they’re still wasting everyone’s time making Risen games. Who is excited to see this game come out later this month?

August will most likely be another disappointing month in gaming. There is nothing here that excites me or makes want to throw my money at the screen.

September is where the games are at right now. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say we can’t wait to play Destiny again.

  1. Summer tends to be a wasteland for games. I’ll probably check out Sacred 3. I hear it’s a more casual take on Sacred, but never mind I can still enjoy it as a Gauntlet style hack n slash romp.
