My Top 5 Favorite MMOs

I’ve been on an MMO gaming spree lately. There really isn’t anything else to do this month since I completed Mad Max, and Nobunaga’s Ambition so I started playing online and I’ve been having a ton of fun. I decided to share my top 5 favorite MMOs with everyone.

5. Vindictus

downloadVindictus has been around for quite awhile now and it still has major server issues that devs obviously will never fix, but this game is awesome and probably has the best gameplay that ever made in any MMO. I had no problem, other than the constant server issues, jumping back in with a new character and kicking all kinds of ass.

4. Skyforge

Skyforge-NA-CBT-mainSkyforge took the MMO world by storm. Playing as a god and literally smiting enemies is badass in all kinds of ways. This game is grind heavy and you’ll most likely be repeating the exact same areas over and over again to unlock that class you want, but it’s so much fun to play that I never get bored as I’m playing and that’s always a good thing in MMOs.

3. Warframe

warframe-xbox-oneI’ve been playing Warframe on and off since it’s release back when Loki was one of the three original Warframes that you could choose at the beginning of the game. This game is probably the most grind heavy game on the list, but, just like Skyforge, it’s so much fun to play that I forget all about the grind and just focus on having fun with my friends, or wife. If you like space ninjas you can’t go wrong trying out Warframe.

2. Guild Wars 2

Guild Wars 2After many years as my number 1 MMO Guild Wars 2 has finally been dethroned, until Heart of Thorns release anyway, and while I still love the game I don’t spend as much time as I used to playing it. Guild Wars 2 gave us a new way of playing MMOs and killed the repetition that usually comes with them. I think that’s why I’m still playing it.

  1. Phantasy Star Online 2

Phantasy_Star_Online_2_01The long awaited Phantasy Star Online 2 has been my go to game all month long. Since it’s become compatible with Windows 10 I jumped back in with both feet and picked up where I left off with my old character. Phantasy Star Online was my favorite game back on the Dreamcast and part 2 is my favorite game at the moment. It’s action packed, has a good community, and it’s not pay to win. What more can ask for? How about porting it over the East now Sega? It’s been long enough right?

Those are my top 5 MMO’s at the moment. If this was an all time list I would include The Old Republic. The last time I tried to play the game it wouldn’t work with Windows 10. That was months ago though and I’ve really been wanting to jump back in. I just don’t feel like renewing my subscription at the moment.
