Hunt Horrors of The Gilded Age Is Still In Development

Does anyone remember Hunt Horrors of The Gilded Age? We were shown some gameplay last summer and it’s been quiet ever since. I reached out to Crytek to find out more information and they answered me.

This wasn’t an interview, but I tried my best to get some sort of information out of Crytek about Hunt Horrors of The Gilded Age because it’s been so long since we’ve heard anything about it.

All they were willing to share was this:

“Thank you for your interest in HUNT: Horrors of the Gilded Age and for reaching out to us.

We are still working on the game and making good progress, but it’ll be a bit before we will be able to talk about it again.

Please let us know whether you would be interested in any other of our games, for instance Warface (our Free-to-play online shooter) or Robinson: The Journey (our newly announced Playstation VR title). We’d be happy to help you out with information.”

Some news is better then no news at all right? Not quite, but I’m happy to learn that the game is still in development and wasn’t cancelled because it does look interesting. It looks like they’re more focused on The Journey at the moment, which is disappointing, but understandable.

Hopefully I’ll be able to get some more information out of them regarding Hunt Horrors of The Gilded Age or they’ll at least give us some gameplay footage so we could all see how far the development of the game has come along.

I’ll update this article when/if I get more information.
