Why Is Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 $60?

If I’m not mistaken the first Garden Warfare game that released was only $30. So why is part 2 twice the price?

Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare was more successful then anyone gave it credit for. It sold a lot more then I ever thought it would, but I think part of that is because it was cheaper then most brand new games. I got my copy for $30 and definitely got my money’s worth out of it.

Garden Warfare 2 is $60 and I can’t for the life of me think of one reason why I would pay that much money for this title. The first game was good, but didn’t hold my attention for very long. It lacked replay value to me and I haven’t played it for almost a year. I know Lunaliah would disagree with me on that one though.

Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is giving us more content, but is it really worth a triple A price tag? I don’t think so. I honestly prefer the older Plants vs Zombies game. The first one that had us planting our plants in a garden and watching as they killed hordes of zombies is the best game in the series in my opinion.

Turning it into a multiplayer shooter was a weird decision, but it worked and skyrocketed Plants vs Zombies popularity. I’m not sure if I’m going to buy the second game. It just doesn’t interest me and the fact that it’s $60 makes my choice easier. There are better games I can buy for less then that.

Are you getting Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2?
