Do You Remember Homefront Revolution?

I was really surprised when I realized that the next Homefront game was releasing in few days. I thought it was cancelled…

Homefront The Revolution almost didn’t happen. A handful of studios tried to complete the game until Deep Silver saved it and gave the reigns to the newly formed Dambuster Studios. The big news from this, to me anyway, is that it’s releasing really soon. We’re just a few days away from the game and no one is talking about it.

There are no advertisements or hype whatsoever so what’s going on? Well… apparently nothing is. Doom seems to be getting all of the headlines right now and I’m guessing we’ll see a bunch of “reviews” from the big name companies and they’ll most likely slap a low score on the game and call it a day.

Homefront The Revolution was supposed to be a linear game until future developers changed it and I think I prefer it the way it is now over what it was originally going to be. I think I’m going to buy Homefront The Revolution just because I can get it for around $30 on PC.

I remember I was sort of interested in it last year at E3, but I forgot it existed because of the lack of coverage it received. Do you remember Homefront?

    1. I think they do. And I would love to continue that series, but it sadly might not ever happen.

I haven’t played Homefront yet, but I’m going in with a open mind despite all of the negativity it’s been getting lately.

  1. Even though not every shooter that’s come out over the years has been great, it’s always nice seeing someone else have a go and maybe come up with something that differs from the usual yearly releases. I’m curious to hear what you think of it when it is released!
