The Elder Scrolls Online is Free To Play For A Limited Time

If you own a PS4, or PC you’ll have free access to ESO for a little while.

ESO will be free to play from today until November 20th for PC, and PS4 users. If you decide to try ESO out this weekend you’ll get 500 free crowns if it’s your first time playing ESO, and full access to the base game.

Your character will not be wiped after the free to play period has ended. You’ll be able to continue playing if you decide to buy the game later on.

Xbox One users will get a free weekend soon according to Zenimax.

ESO has gotten a lot better and I recommend giving it a shot. It’s more like a Elder Scrolls game now instead of just your average MMO. It caters to both crowds, and I really like it now. It’s free to play so you have nothing to lose if you decide to download it now.

  1. Its only on Steam for OC tho… my bf tried but we cant start it via steam (repair…) so we ditched it. Tried to buy it but Steam took the money but he never got the game. Then tried the free version with no luck. Doh Steam….

    1. That’s a odd issue that your friend needs to contact Steam about. Tell him/her to keep their receipt that proves that they paid for the game and attach to the support ticket on Steam.

It might just be waiting for the free weekend to be over before giving your friend the game. And ESO is a really large download and many people are downloading it right now. Maybe the servers are just really busy at the moment.

My ESO isn’t on Steam. I just launch straight from my desktop. You could try redownloading it and see if that helps. Good luck.

      1. I’m glad everything worked out :).

I hope you guys enjoy the game together.

And I just realized that I said he/she when you specified that your bf was a he. Sorry about that :).
