Lets Talk About Dark Souls III Final DLC The Ringed City

I thought today would be a pretty boring day. I watched a few reviews of Resident Evil 7, but something else caught my eye. New contend for one of my favorite games to play… Dark Souls III.

I’ll admit that I was more blown away by the Ashes of Ariandel trailer than this one, but that doesn’t mean I’m not looking forward to this. I’m excited at the chance to jump back into Dark Souls III. March is already packed with great games and this expansion just adds to it.

I’m willing to put Mass Effect Andromeda off until April if it means I can get some more Dark Souls in my life. The Ringed City looks really interesting, but I wonder how it ties into everything in Dark Souls III? I’m excited about the new boss fight that I saw wrecking the poor soul playing in the trailer. It looked like some sort of demon thingy that was shooting fireballs one second and swinging wildly the next.

If that’s another three phase boss fight I’ll shit myself. The only problem this year is the lack of games for this month and next month. In March we have Ghost Recon, Mass Effect, Zelda, and now Dark Souls III expansion, but until then we’re only getting Resident Evil 7, and For Honor. One of those two games will definitely be added to my library on Steam.

I’m really excited about this DLC. More content in Dark Souls III is always a good thing. Hopefully this new area is a lot larger than Ashes of Ariandel even though I thought Ariandel was great it was really small and only took me about 3 hours to complete on my first run.

Every time I stop playing Dark Souls III new content releases to reel back into it and I love that. The Ringed City is supposed to be the final piece of DLC for Dark Souls III. I’ll be sad to see it end, but all good things eventually do. Here’s to hoping we’ll see it on the Switch one day :).

The trailer to the upcoming DLC is below.
