Lets Talk About Darksiders 3!

I wasn’t aware that Darksiders was popular enough to warrant a third game in the series, but it’s been announced and… I don’t care one bit.

I’m not a fan of the Darksiders games. They’re not bad games by any means, but they’re not great either. The first one was good enough to get a sequel and the second one (according to who you ask) is either really good, or really fucking bad. The trailer did nothing to make me interested in this game at all. It’s just one long cinematic teaser that showed Fury (really glad to see her in a game by the way) listening to a voice (Abbadon?) while teasing her bound brother.

From there it shows her using a whip against some sort of demon. We saw no gameplay and the trailer left much to be desired. I know Darksiders fans will rejoice since there’s a third game in the series now, but I just don’t care. This will probably be a bargain bin game for me a year from now during one of Steam’s many sales.

What did you think of the big teaser trailer for Darksiders 3?

  1. It’s impressive to see that this franchise has continued to survive despite all the financial troubles. Darksiders has a fan base so this is good news for them. I don’t think I will buy this third installment as I never got round to finishing the previous two.

  2. Whilst the trailer shows very little, I am glad this series is continuing. I enjoyed the previous entries (the first more so than the second) and certainly don’t mind having a bit more!

    1. I don’t think it’s a bad series. It’s just one of those games that I won’t pay more than $20 for. I’m glad that you’re looking forward to it!
