Mass Effect Andromeda Already Has Some Nice Mods

While I was browsing the Nexus for some mods to add to my Skyrim game I came across some Mass Effect Andromeda mods.

Shut up SAM

Do you get tired of your Sam telling you that it’s cold? Or about every time you enter your ship he tells you that you have mail when you don’t? This mod will solve that.

MEA All Weapon Rebalance

This mod overhauls the damage that most weapons do in game. Assault rifles are inaccurate, and do very little damage in game. This doesn’t really bother me, but if it bothers you go ahead and download this mod. It increases the damage that every gun in the game does, but also makes assault rifles more accurate. Playing as a soldier would be much better with this mod in my opinion.

Underarmor Casual Outfit

None of the casual outfits in Andromeda look very good in my opinion. This mod replaces one of the outfits with the pic you see above.

Improved Sara Ryder Face

I don’t know about you, but the default female Ryder face is fucking ugly. This mod does it’s best to give us a decent looking female protagonist and it’s not bad. The character creator in this game is a major step down from Dragon Age Inquisition’s and it’s hard to create acceptable avatars for any sex that you decide to play as.

I’m going to start visiting the Andromeda mod page more often to see what interesting things modders can come up with. I don’t expect many mods to show up for this game, but it’s off to a decent start.

  1. liking the sounds of the mod for changing the face. I wanted to make a female character but hated how all the non Sara faces looked. Maybe mods will be made to make also the other faces look better or give us more options

    1. The modding scene in Andromeda is in it’s infancy right now. I’m hoping that in the months to come we’ll see some mods that expand on the basic character creator and give us better looking characters.

I went with male Ryder because I didn’t feel like spending two hours trying to make a acceptable female avatar. I usually play male in Bioware games anyway, but I do like to experience the female’s side of the story too.
