Lets Talk About Nioh Releasing on PC!

I love it when I’m right :). I told everyone that Nioh would release on PC eventually because Sony didn’t own the rights to it like they do with Bloodborne. Nioh has a release date and it’s coming sooner then you think.

I’ve been wanting to play Nioh since it was announced. As a PC gamer I’m used to waiting to play some of the “exclusives” that Sony and Microsoft have on their console. It’s just part of the business to try and get us to buy into their consoles. I didn’t buy a PS4 because deep down I knew this game would come to PC. How did I know? I knew because Koei Tecmo has been releasing all of their games on PC. The Atelier series, Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors and now Nioh.

Sony doesn’t own Nioh. I had every reason to believe that a PC port was in the works. There is one big problem here though. It’s a Koei Tecmo PC port. That means it’s most likely going to be a shitty port. That’s not a deal breaker for me. If I can play Dark Souls on PC I can play anything on it.

Nioh will be released on November 7th 2017.

What do you think about Nioh coming to the PC!

  1. this is great news. Nioh looked great, but like you i don’t have a Ps4 and i don’t have much reason to get one since I can barely keep up with my gaming catalogue without one. Hopefully the port will run ok. PC ports can be a scary topic at times.
