PC The Division 4

5 Things I Want To See Added or Changed In The Division 2

Spread the Word!

I’m creeping up on that 100 hours mark in The Division 2 and I can’t help, but wish I had more shit to do in the game. Here’s a small list of things I would love to see added to this game.

5. Pets

Yes, I want pets in The Division 2. This game wouldn’t be the only looter shooter that gave us a fluffy, or robotic, companion. Warframe has been doing it for years and one of my favorite things to do in that game after a tough mission is to pet my Kubrow and tell him what a good boy he is. Give us a dog, a bird, a goldfish… something! Use your imagination guys! This will go nicely with something I’ve added a little further down my list.

4. Buff Shotguns

I’m a little tired of the unrealistic take on shotguns in video games. I think The Division 2 might have the worst take on shotguns in the history of gaming. The range, damage, and spread of a shotgun in this game are absolutely terrible and needs a serious increase in every category. There’s a reason why you rarely see people using shotgun builds. You have to give too much and gain too little…

3. Housing

I want my own personal space in this game. I don’t want to share the White House with hundreds of other people. Let me get my own room, buy, or takeover, some property where I can customize the inside, add posters, display my gun collection, pet my dog, feed my fish, and just chill. This might seem like something small, but it would add so much to this game.

2. Bring The Underground DLC To The Division 2

If I had to choose one thing that I loved the most about The first Division game it would be the Underground DLC. I loved doing short sorties underground with my squad while looking for better loot. The underground areas in Washington are lacking. It would be awesome if there was some sort of DLC planned to expand those areas like in the first game.

1. Nerf The Enemies

Nothing sucks the fun out of a game faster than unloading over 500 bullets into a single enemy. I can see all of you elitist rolling your eyes at me now for daring to mention that enemies should take less bullets to kill. Do you know what would offset this? Adding more of them for us to kill. You can nerf the amount of health an enemy has in challenging, but keep it challenging by throwing more of them at us. I want to feel like my build matters because right now it doesn’t matter if I have 250k armor or 300k I still die just as fast from a single enemy so you might as well let us do more damage to them since this game lacks build diversity compared to the first one. One of the few things Anthem did right was make us feel powerful with their last update. Either buff us or debuff them.

What would you like to see added to The Division 2? What would you like changed?

I would end up spending all my time doing one thing then going to pat my dog or talk to my pet if they were added. I do like that idea though!

I would do the same lol. After I complete a mission in Warframe I walk right up to my Kubrow and start petting him. Massive could do so much with this game that it’s a little disappointing that they didn’t think outside the box and add some social features like that.

I tried playing the game last night and after about an hour I turned my system off. The combat feels unbalanced with the enemies dealing far too much damage. It also didn’t feel rewarding to try to do the activities to fill out my specializations. Think me and this game are going on a break. I think some of you ideas would make the game more engaging and fun, possibly keep people like myself from loosing interest.

I’m about to write about this game again lol. I’m pretty much in the same boat as you right now. I have 115 hours played with my agent and you’ve might as well say I’m still a level 1 compared to some of these NPCs I’m fighting. They still kill me with 1 or 2 shots and that’s after the update that dropped! The enemies (with 2 players) are manageable and die somewhat quickly, but when you’re in a group of 4 they all become the Terminator. It’s just not fun and I’m tired of playing this game. I feel like I’m wasting my time so I’m moving on to something else.
