Introduction:
Hi there! My name is Omar Jackson. I’m a freelance writer and I love video games, board games, card games, and all things geeky. Manga, graphic novels, movies, music, and podcast. I’ve been running this blog now for 6 years and during that time I’ve won blog of the year once (2017). racked up over 50 awards from my peers over at WordPress, and made the decision to move my blog from WordPress.com and find a host.
Writing isn’t all I do here though. I love creating content of all forms. I have a Youtube channel that I plan on supporting with content in the near future and a podcast that I upload new episodes to every week. I’m very passionate about what I do and I love all of the positive and negative feedback I receive from my community here at Pete’s Corner. I’m a father of four beautiful kids and they’re all gamers. I love gaming with my family. If we’re not playing the latest Super Mario we’re on Diablo III or some competitive fighting game like Soul Calibur VI. You can expect my brutally honest opinion on everything I decide to cover here whether it be good or bad. I’m used to going against popular opinion and liking “bad” games. That has never stopped me from being outspoken and I think that’s what I have here that not many other people do. If you’re looking for an echo chamber that showers a highly rated game with praise you probably won’t find it here.

I write a lot of game reviews here. In the last 6 years, I’ve personally written 479 game reviews. Some of them are games I’ve bought myself and some of them are games that were provided to me for review purposes.
