Darksiders 2 Gets A Crappy Remake Later This Month

Spread the Word!

I’ve never played Darksiders 2. I’ve always wanted to, but never found the time, or cash, to do so. A re-release has been announced for Darksiders 2 and it looks like shit.

The remake to Darksiders 2 looks like it was done with minimal effort. It looks exactly the same as the original version. It’s just upscaled to 1080p for consoles and it’s a re-release.

I guess you can argue that the textures are a little better, but if you’ve played the game on PC you literally have no need for this. This is not making me want to go out and the buy the game for $30  when I can get both games in a bundle for $10 on G2A.

The remake to Metro 2033 is a true remake and it’s probably the only one worth owning in this new era of remakes. This is just a cash grab from a dead IP.

Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition is set to be released on October 27th.

I really, really enjoyed Ninja Theory’s current-gen remake of DmC. They added some game-changing features, like 60fps gameplay and a hard lock-on feature, and two or three new difficulties. Metro 2033 is really great in the Redux, for sure.

Metro 2033 is the way games are supposed to be remade. We got a light face lift coming up with this game. That’s why I bashed it. I usually stay away from re-releases because I have a really good gaming PC. Metro was the exception because it was really well done.

HD Collections of the last-generation and remasters this generation have bored me to tears. It definitely takes more than a fresher coat of paint to draw my attention. Just like with Dishonored’s Definitive Edition, I couldn’t be any more uninterested in Darksiders 2.
