Lets Talk About! PC The Division

The Division – Global Event 4 Haul

Spread the Word!

Every time I quit playing The Division another global event pops up and drags me right back to it. This one was the best one yet and introduced us to four new classified gear sets. I did quite well this time around and played until the last few hours to try and get everything. Here’s my haul!

Global event 4 Ambush was a tricky event to get into. It forced me to play The Division like a third person shooter. Taking cover gave me a massive damage boost while leaving covered for too long would drain my health. I favored the Nomad Classified set for this run. I didn’t have to worry about dying because if I did I would pop right back up and continue wrecking shit in front of me. I didn’t put the massive amount of hours that I dropped into the last global event, but I did put about 32 hours into this one and I managed to snag everything that was up for grabs.

Here’s my haul:

Alphabridge Classified Set

Hunter’s Faith Classified Set

Fire Crest Classified Set

Tactician’s Authority Set

Cage Mask

Bug Mask

Haze Mask

I didn’t score high enough to get the new outfit, but I don’t care. I got everything that I wanted and more. I got a bunch of new exotic guns and I think I’m in love with the Hunter’s Faith set because of it’s ridiculous damage output. My character looks like a badass too.

I’m not sure how I feel about each individual gear set yet. I’m currently testing out the Fire Crest set while I farm for more money so I can keep optimizing my gear. I did a few runs with the Hunter’s Faith set and I really like it, but I’m not sure it’s the best set to run while doing solo runs. I have a lot of testing and optimizing to do so I can’t say if my 30+ hours of grinding was worth it or not.

This global event was fun. It was a lot different than the last one and I teamed up with some pretty awesome people too. My most played stages was Lexington, Hudson River Camp (for the Bug Mask), and Time Square Power Relay on the legendary difficulty. I also did three runs on Grand Central Station for the Haze mask with my wife Lunaliah.

I did great in this global event. I can’t wait to see what happens next in The Division. I think some new gear sets will be introduced to us this year since we kind of ran out of them in this global event. Whatever happens I’ll be sure to bring my character and have a great time playing with my friends and by myself. Have you ever played The Division? What did you think of it?
