Year In Review 4

Drakulus – 2016 Year In Review

Spread the Word!

It took me awhile to realize that WordPress didn’t do a year in review of my blog this year. I decided to do one myself and share my statistics of 2016 with everyone.

I would say happy new year, but my new year has been anything, but happy. I’m getting over a bad stomach bug and I’m not one of those new year resolutions freaks that say things that they know they’ll never get around to doing.

2016 was a good year for my blog. My numbers are up over 2015’s, but fell way lower than 2014.

2016 Statistics

In 2016 received 188,454 views. A large chunk of that went towards my Skyrim content. I got 93,173 visitors, and 586 comments. I would like to thank everyone for taking time out of their day to visit, comment, and like everything that I do here.

Skyrim Special Edition – Sexy Edition! – 24,772

That should come as a surprise to no one. I built my entire blog around Skyrim and sex sells. I really enjoyed the comments in this one. No one was brave enough to drop a comment in the comments section. Instead they all emailed me about their nude mods :).

Here’s a list of Skyrim Mods that work with Skyrim Special Edition – 13,992

Shortly after Special Edition released I started experimenting with old Skyirm mods that I thought would work with Special Edition. There’s a good list of mods there and I recommend checking it out if you’re into modding Skyrim SE.

I Quit Black Desert Online – 1,209

Black Desert Online has to be the most disappointing MMO that I’ve played in years. I was so hyped about this game before it released and all of that changed after my friend gave me a 5 day free pass to try it out. I think it’s going to go free to play soon.

Top 5 Weekly Fallout 4 Mods – 505

It’s nice to see my latest mod articles getting attention. I plan on revisiting the mod scene in Fallout 4 after I’m done with Skyrim.

I only included articles that I wrote in 2016.

Where Do My Views Come From?

United States – 80,712

Germany – 13,760

United Kingdom – 10,939

It’s always awesome to attract so many different people to my blog. I’m part German so having a bunch of Germany views is really awesome to me, but I love each and every view that I get from all over the world.

If you’re looking for a different opinion on games try Cheap Boss Attack’s blog. He loves games like Final Fantasy, and just about every PS Vita game I can think of. He’s actually the reason why I’m considering a PS Vita because he makes the games sound so damn good.

The Otaku Judge is the place to go for anime and videos games. If I’m curious about a anime I know where to go. The reviews on The Otaku Judge’s blog are short, sweet, and have a nice layout too.

The Night Owl covers games, movies, and the latest technology. I enjoy reading about what new things are releasing. When it comes to phones I’m in the stone age because I rarely upgrade, but I enjoy reading about them :).

2016 was a great year and I’m hoping I can make 2017 even better. So far 2017 is pretty stacked with games and I can already hear my wallet screaming for more cash.

Thanks for the shout out. Hope you are feeling better now. Your view count is very impressive. Maybe I should start reviewing smutty Skyrim mods to get a piece of that action 🙂

Thanks for posting that info up – it’s REALLY interesting to learn about what succeeds and those are some incredible numbers. Your Skyrim/Fallout mod reviews have been great – I had no idea what existed for the games until I read about them here. I have been educated now as a result. 🙂

And thanks too for the shout out! 🙂

I started off just writing about Skyrim every day. Things sort of took off from there. I love The Elder Scrolls, and I love the modding community. I’m glad I was able to educate you on some of my favorite mods :).
