Game of The Year Awards 2015

Spread the Word!

Another year has gone by and I hope everyone had a safe new year’s. It’s time for our Game of The Year Awards once again.

This year’s game of the year awards has 26 categories. Each category is going to have a game that we think is the best in that genre. I’m joined by Lunaliah this year and we literally wrecked our brains trying to figure out which game should be at the top of each category.

Gilbert will also be joining us this year to give us his opinion on what the best Xbox exclusive is this year.

Wow… that was a very large list of games, but there’s one missing and that’s our game of the year.

Game of The Year:

Drakulus, and Lunaliah’s Pick – Xenoblade Chronicles X

2015 was filled with great games. It was hard just choosing one game for each category because there were so many to choose from. We can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us.

Nice list! Glad to see Yo-Kai getting some love, because Gera Gera Po. Mad Max seemed to be pretty polarizing, but I enjoyed it. My XB1 version bugged out in a gamebreaking way and I had no desire to start over, so I sold it. Hoping to pick it up again for a rainy day when it’s cheap.

I played the PC version of Mad Max and didn’t encounter a single bug in 55 hours. It’s definitely my PC port of the year.

Yo-Kai Watch is really great and was a no brainer for best 3DS game of the year.

I’m glad you enjoyed the list :].

I had an issue on Xbox One where a key person was supposed to spawn and didn’t, so I couldn’t progress the story. I tried everything, but there was just no way I was going to restart it.

Damn… that sucks. Sorry that happened to you.

Nothing like that ever happened to me or my wife. Together we have about 85 combined hours in Mad Max and they’re the best hours I’ve ever spent in a PC game because of how stable it was. I wish every game worked like Mad Max on release day.

Yeah, it seemed to be an extremely rare case. I’ll definitely give it another go later on down the line. Definitely one of the more underrated games of 2015.

Thats interesting that you mentioned Fallout 4 is the most innovative game of the year. I guess with all of the crafting it makes sense.

Crafting, settlement building, being able to approach each situation in a different way. It was a no brainer for me honestly :].

      Thanks for reading.
