Modding PC Skyrim 3

Here's A List of Old Skyrim Mods That Work With Skyrim Special Edition (Updated)

Spread the Word!

I’ve been tinkering around with Skyrim Special Edition and got some mods working on it that aren’t officially supported.

There are NO nude mods for consoles. Nude mods are a PC exclusive feature and will most likely never go to consoles. Especially the PS4. I will not bother responding to any more emails asking me whether or not there are nude, or secret nude, mods on Xbox or Playstation. I will simply delete them.

Skyrim  2K Textures

One of the most popular mods for Skyrim is compatible with Skyrim Special Edition. It doesn’t work perfectly, but it does make Special Edition look really good. You’ll have reflection problems if you do decide to download this mod.

SkyUI is the big name on this list. It’s a essential mod for Skyrim, but it doesn’t work like you think it would. Since there’s no SKSE for Skyrim Special Edition yet you can only use the UI part of SkyUI. Make sure you download version 2.2. If you can live with a error message every time you open your inventory go ahead and download this mod. You’ll thank me later.

Dimonized UNP Body

20161029011408_1 20161029011418_1The first nude mod is available for Skyrim Special Edition and it works perfectly. Skin textures mods that I’ve tried don’t work and make the women body look all kinds of ugly, but if you want to see some ass then go ahead and download this mod.

Real Roads

The popular road mod isn’t officially supported for special edition, but it works. That screenshot above is from special edition and I like what I see so far. I haven’t gotten very far so I can’t comment how well everything works, but so far it’s nice. Make sure you download the loose files version.

In order for you to use these mods you have to go to the original Skyrim’s Nexus page and manually download them. After you do that just open up Nexus Mod Manager and add them to your mods. You’ll get a warning message, but nothing will happen so ignore it.

I’ll update this list as I try out more mods.

Someone on Twitter said SkyUI 2.2 works for the console version, which would be a godsend. I need to check the list of mods tomorrow and see if it’s available for download.

The only way to get SkyUI 2.2 working is to download the original version and manually extract it into Skyrim Special Edition’s data folder.
