I don’t usually buy things on Black Friday or Cyber Monday because by the time those days come around I already had what I wanted and this year it was Fallout 4.
Fallout 4 was the only game I purchased last month. I got the Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing Final Cut for free because I already owned the trilogy and Neocore Games gave me two review keys to go along with it so I ended with three copies of the game.
Black Friday is not a good time to go out and shop for things. I know things are dirt cheap that day, but is it really worth getting hurt, or going to jail for? I don’t want to place my family in danger just because I want to get a new TV for my room. It’s not worth it because there are some really crazy people out there.
I saw a grown women snatch something a kid was holding a get into a fight with her mom. It was crazy and that white lady should be ashamed of herself for doing it, but I guess our true colors come out on Black Friday doesn’t it?
I don’t want to expose my kids to that kind of craziness because if someone knocks my kid down or tries to steal something out of their hands I’ll go crazy myself and probably start fighting like that mother did for her child.
I hope everyone had a safe Black Friday and made it home okay. Just because something is really cheap doesn’t mean it’s worth getting hurt or killed for.
I don’t mind paying a little more for something because it’s less hassle that way. I’m also really glad I’m an online shopper. I don’t have to leave my home and deal with people that I don’t want to deal with.
Steam is having a big sale right now, but I’m not getting anything. I have Fallout 4 and when Xenoblade Chronicles X releases I’ll have that too.
