I'm Really Looking Forward To The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine Expansion

Spread the Word!

The Witcher 3 is finally getting a real expansion and I’m pretty excited about it.

The first “expansion” for The Witcher 3 was alright I guess. It wasn’t very memorable to me and shouldn’t have been called a expansion in the first place.

Blood and Wine on the other hand looks like it’ll be everything I hoped for with the first expansion and that’s give us more locations to explore, enemies to fight, quest to complete, and Geralt of Rivia because the dude is just badass.

Blood and Wine is supposed to offer us about 30 hours of additional gameplay, but I’m willing to guess it could possibly be around 40+ if we explore everywhere and do all of the additional sidequest that the expansion will undoubtedly have.

I haven’t played The Witcher 3 since I completed it a year ago. I had no reason to jump back in it, but since Blood and Wine has a release date now I might just start a fresh file and play through everything again so I can be properly prepared for the new expansion.

I thought you did play witcher 3 while you were waiting for dark souls 3.

I started, but stopped to play other games. I only got to level 3. I continued where I left off and I’m getting more serious about completing the game since I know the expansion is coming.

I played through Inquisition again and then went on to Dark Souls 3.

Does changing the difficulty to deathmarch change enemy encounter at all, like different attack patterns and such? Or is it just more spongey enemies and make the game more generic or does it make the game better.
