I tried my best to get Arkham Knight to work on my PC, but to no avail. It doesn’t have SLI support and I refuse to buy this on another platform so I can play it.
I can run The Witcher 3, Mad Max, Fallout 4, and Star Wars Battlefront on high settings on my PC, but I can’t run this because it doesn’t have SLI support. I could probably get stable FPS with some INI tweaks, but I’ll be honest. I don’t feel like doing that because I’m fed up with the game and because I’m confused on why there is no SLI support for the game to begin with.
I don’t care how many excuses Rocksteady has for not giving us SLI support for Arkham Knight. If I’m not mistaken Arkham City had it. So why not Arkham Knight? The game itself runs okay I guess, but it stutters to much and I’m not getting good enough FPS to playthrough the game comfortably.
I’m officially writing this game off. I’ve tried my best to work with it. I even stopped playing for a few months because of how unstable it was on release day and it’s still not in good condition. Great job with the so called improvements Rocksteady. I should have followed my gut and just got this on Xbox One, but I don’t even want to play the game anymore. Maybe next year I’ll do something on it, but for now I’m done.
Then again… I’ve been accused, very recently, of not completing games I review so why not add this to the collection right?
At least I have some free Batman games to fall back on so all isn’t lost. I really wanted to play this game, but I refuse to purchase it again. I’ll just let this be a lesson learned to not trust Rocksteady PC games in the future.
