Here are my top 10 games of all time!
10. Civilization V
Civilization V is a very fun game. I love taking over lands and trying to get in first place. I also like when I have the option to nuke other NPCs because I’m mean like that. Civilization V’s music is really good. I love to sit back and listen to OST before I start playing it. I also like to build and expand my city. George Bush likes to demolish me and take my lands. That little fucker always gets the best of me and I hate it. I love the co-op, My husband and I used to play this game for hours. I miss playing this game. It’s amazing.
9. Stella Glow
Stella Glow is an underrated gem. The developer, sadly, isn’t around anymore. Stella Glow is their best work in my opinion. The story, characters, gameplay, and music is absolutely incredible. Stella Glow is the best game on the 3DS and if you haven’t played it yet you should. It’s really good.
8. The Elder Scrolls Online
The Elder Scrolls Online is an excellent game. I love to get lost in its world and explore to my heart’s content. Teaming up in a group and exploring the far reaches of Tamriel was an experience for me. This is the only Elder Scrolls game I’ve ever completed and completing it has made me curious about the other Elder Scrolls games. I know my husband is smiling at the thought of me playing through Skyrim one day. Oh god, what I have done…
Warframe is one of my favorite games of all time. I love that I can have a big fluffy dog called a kubrow or robotic companion called a sentinel. I love the co-op, and I also like soundtrack and gameplay. The level design and boss fights are fantastic and have changed a lot since this game released 6 years ago. No game has changed as much as Warframe has over the years. It’s an amazing game.
6. The Witcher 3
The Witcher 3 is another game that I truly love to play. I like the music and the gameplay. I also like the customization, collecting loot, and solving witcher quest. It feels like I’m a real detective solving the common folks’ problems and I love that. Geralt is an amazing protagonist and I was invested in this game since the moment I started playing it and that doesn’t happen very often since I usually don’t play story heavy games. The Witcher 3 is an amazing game that I highly recommend that you play.
5. The Division 1 & The Division 2
I love the Division games. I think they’re absolutely incredible and I love the fact that the first game takes place in my home city. I prefer the setting of the first game, but the gameplay of the second. Both games are incredible and are in regular rotation for me. I love collecting that sweet loot, shooting bad guys, and saving the day. A big selling point for me is the modern setting. Not every shooter has to take place in a fantasy land or be Sci-Fi. This game’s modern setting is what drew my husband and me to these games, to begin with, and I never thought I would like these games as much as I do.
4. Borderlands 2
Borderlands 2 is a very fun game to play when you’re in a group or by yourself. The guns in Borderlands are fantastic. The term gun porn was invented in these games and when you play it for yourself you’ll see why. No looter shooter game to date has done what Borderlands 2 did 7 years ago. This game was ahead of its time and is still the current standard of the genre and just so happens to be one of my favorite games ever.
3. Monster Hunter World
Monster Hunter World is an amazing game. Nothing beats beating the living shit out of a big ass monster, stealing its pelt, and making some sexy ass armor out of it. This game is fun and that’s why I play video games. I don’t need an engaging story or deep meaningful diaglogue. I just want a big ass weapon, my pet kitty, and something to kill and that’s what this game gives me. Monster Hunter World is a masterpiece and is currently my favorite multiplayer game to play with my husband.
I can see Omar rolling his eyes as he reads this. I LOVE this game. I don’t know what it is that keeps me coming back to it, but I have close to 1,000 hours in this game spread out across the Wii U, Phone, PC, 3DS, and PS4. I just love this game to death and it almost took the number 1 spot. I love building cool houses, collecting useless NPCs, digging underground for buried treasure, and fighting bosses. This game has it all for me.
1. Diablo III
If there’s one game I’ve played more than Terraria it’s this one. Diablo III is a masterpiece that I’ve played through countless both with my husband and by myself. It’s fun coming up with unique builds and playing through all of the awesome end game content. I don’t need Path of Exile (even though my husband has tried HARD to get me into it), Grim Dawn, or any other ARPG. I’m fine with Diablo and it is the best game I’ve ever played… until Diablo IV gets here anyway.
These are my favorite games of all time. Thank you for reading.
