Monthly Recap

Monthly Recap- February 2014

Spread the Word!

It’s the end of the month and you know what that means. It’s time for another monthly recap but before I get to that I would like to thank pressstartgetalife for nominating me for the Liebster Award, and Caragale for nominating me for The Dragon’s Loyalty Award. I’ve actually never heard of that second one before but it sounds awesome. I promise you guys that I’ll get around to writing a post for these awesome awards when I have time. This month has honestly been a lot of fun for me. I’ve just gotten into making all of my first impressions videos and I’m even considering doing movies, and games that way too.

On top of that I got a new Xbox One and so far it’s really awesome. The voice commands, and even the Kinect so far is very responsive. I got an Xbox One to play all the games that I won’t be able to play on my PC. Games like Madden, Ryse, and Dead Rising 3 are all exclusive to consoles. The Xbox One is a good backup console. Nothing will replace PC gaming for me but I’ll be lying if I said I wasn’t having a blast on my Xbox One. I think the main problem I have with either of the new consoles now, and even in the future is that they’ll be ignored by me for weeks at a time. If a game is coming out for the Xbox One/PS4/PC I’m going to get it for the PC.

I’ve also managed to buy almost 20 brand new games this month. Two of them are on my Xbox One and I’ve already reviewed one of those games. I finally played Pokemon this month and was really underwhelmed by the whole thing. Since everyone was hyping this game and praising it for it’s battle system I walked in thinking it was going to be the best Pokemon game of all time. It turned out to be a bore fest for more then half the game because the game is just to damn easy. I have no desire to jump back into that game any time soon and that’s actually pretty sad since I usually play through Pokemon games three or four times before I call it quits.

Since i’ve gotten all of that crap out of the way here are the articles that got the most attention this month:

PS4 mod support sucks because of Sony and new texture mods like the Argonian one isn’t/won’t be supported now or ever.

If you want to play a modded Skyrim get it on PC. It’s the superior version and is the only version I’ll ever mod.
