Spread the Word!

NekoJonez had a bunch of his post stolen from his blog and posted elsewhere without his consent. We decided to do something about it and we wrote this together. Check it out and help us raise awareness 🙂

This is terrible. I’ve not had any blog content stolen, but some of my novels have apeared on pirate sites before now, so I can relate to a degree. Terrible, terrible behaviour.

I fully agree. Can’t wait to see it all taken down.

This is just horrible. I hope something is done about this soon. No one should have their content stolen.

Well… WordPress sent me an email and pretty much refused to help us so… what happens next is anyone’s guess. I’m planning on self hosting myself and moving away from WP because I no longer trust them to keep my content safe.

I take it, it’s like what you get from YouTube, a big wordy answer that resolves nothing. Shame. I thought WordPress would do something considering that a lot of bloggers pay WP for their blogs.

Exactly! I pay WordPress for mine and I expect some form of protection from them. Someone shouldn’t be able to steal from us and make a profit. WordPress should step in and do something about it. It makes them look bad and I can’t recommend a platform to future bloggers that I can’t trust anymore.

Agreed. If you pay for something like WP then you expect some sort of protection by them. Or at the very least put you in touch with people that can help.

YouTube also has no excuse but at least you don’t have to pay there. Unless you have YouTube Red but that has a few bonuses and isn’t essential for success.

Thankfully, I’m making progress day by day.
