Top 10 Most Disappointing Games of 2015

Spread the Word!

Everyone has played games that weren’t bad, but were just disappointing because they either failed to live up to the hype or was changed drastically on release.

The games that are on this list aren’t bad. I saved the bad games for my Top 10 Worst Games of 2015. Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way lets get to our Top 10 most disappointing games of 2015!

10. Mega Man Legacy Collection

Instead of giving us a new Mega Man game Capcom re-released the old ones… again. I don’t know about you guys, but I want something new from Mega Man. I’ve already played the old games to death and don’t need to play through them again. This game is just nostalgia freaks.

9. The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing Final Cut

The only reason why this game made the list is because of all of the bugs that were in the game when I last played it. I like this game a lot. It’s not better then the first two games, but it’s a lot better then part 3 and it lets us play through the entire trilogy without having to boot up another game on Steam.

8. Total War Attila

This is another Total War game that Creative Assembly dropped the ball on. This isn’t a bad game by any means, but it’s DLC heavy. You can’t get the full experience without buying all the stupid unit packs, map packs, and “expansions” that come with the game. The game itself is fantastic, but I shouldn’t have to feel forced to buy DLC that should have been included in the base game.

7. Resident Evil HD Remaster

One of my favorite Resident Evil games is on this list simply because it’s not a real remastered version of the game. If Capcom has enough resources to do a real remake of Resident Evil 2 then they should do it for all of their Resident Evil games.

6. Dead or Alive 5

dead or alive

Most people would look at Dead or Alive as a perverted game that exist only to please men, but that’s where they would be wrong. This game has excellent gameplay. Chaining up combos is satisfying and beating the crap out of people online makes all my training worth it, but in the end this game was disappointing simply because they tried to pull a Killer Instinct on us. Don’t charge us for everything in the game. I don’t like the idea of purchasing fighters or the “full game”. Just give us the full the game.

5. Rare Replay

Rare Replay has some really good games in it, but the majority of them suck in my opinion. I’ve played every game that this game has to offer and I didn’t want to play through them again, with the exception of Conker, but that alone wasn’t enough for me to cave and buy this title.

4. Monster Hunter 4

I wish Monster Hunter would innovate already. It’s on part 4 already and it’s still the exact same thing. We even have the exact same animations that were in the last game for every single class. That’s just lazy in my opinion and even though hardcore Monster Hunter fans would disagree with me that doesn’t make it any less true. If any other game would have done this everyone would jump down their throats, but it’s okay with Monster Hunter right? That being said I still enjoyed putting 40 hours in it on the 3DS.

3. The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing [Xbox One]

Van Helsing has made it’s way to consoles and there’s no point in playing it. Diablo III is my go to aRPG on consoles simply because it has local co op. Van Helsing does not and it’s a real shame because it could have competed with Diablo III, but Neocore thought people would flock to their game on Xbox. There is no reason for anyone that owns this game on PC to switch over to Xbox.

2. Star Wars Battlefront

Everyone was hyped when this game was announced. I was worried because DICE was making it and I feared that it would be nothing more then a Battlefied game with Star Wars on the cover. I was right, but that’s not the reason why this game is so high up on the list. It’s because of that $50 season pass that this game is at number 2. Charging us $50 for what? More maps? I’m not impressed and this game would have been number 1 if I never purchased the next game.

  1. Batman Arkham Knight [PC]

How can you fuck a game up this bad? I can’t tell you whether or not this is a good game because I still can’t play it. This game was so bad when it released that the devs had to take it off of Steam for a few months to fix the bugs and guess what? It still doesn’t work for me. Great job Rocksteady… you’re officially on my PC shit list. I’m not blaming Warner Bros for this. They also published Mad Max and look how great that game performed. It’s up to developer to make sure their game works. Not the publisher.

Batman wraps up my list of most disappointing games of 2015. I never thought that an Arkham game would make one of my disappointing games list, but it did. I’ll have my top 10 games of 2015 up soon.
