Top 10 Upcoming Games Of 2015

Spread the Word!

I’ve been meaning to write this list of games for over a month now so it’s definitely going to be different since I can’t add Pillars of Eternity or The Handsome Jack Collection to the list, but there are still some games that I’m really looking forward to this year and I decided to share them with everyone.

10. Mad Max

I wasn’t excited about Mad Max, but after watching some gameplay I’m sold. I thought this was going to be a movie licensed game, but I was wrong and I’m really glad that I was. Mad Max looks really good and I can’t wait to get my hands on it when it comes out.

9.  Fatal Frame 5

Take Pokemon Snap and add dead people, sexy girls, and ghost and you’ve got Fatal Frame. Fatal Frame 5 has been confirmed for a US release and will arrive for the Wii U some time this year. I’m really excited for a chance to jump back into Fatal Frame. It’s been way too long since I last played this series.

8. Quantom Break

Quantom Break has an excellent developer and looks fantastic. The creators of Alan Wake, and Max Payne brings us Quantom Break. Everything from the gameplay to the story really interest me in this game and I really hope it does come out this year because news of this game has been scarce lately.

7. Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

Wolfenstein: The New Order was a fantastic game. I even considered naming it my game of the year at one point. When I learned of another Wolfenstein game being made by the same developer I had to put it on my list of most anticipated games of 2015.

6. Torment: Tides of Numenera

Crpgs have made a comeback. First we got Divinity: Original Sin last year and while I did criticize the hell out of it I did enjoy it for the most part. Last month we got Pillars of Eternity and it definitely deserves all of the praise that it’s got from everyone. If Torment: Tides of Numenera is as good as Pillars of Eternity than I’ll be one happy customer. This game looks fantastic!

5. Guitar Hero Live/ Rock Band 4

Guitar Hero and Rock Band are finally back! I’ve always loved both of these franchises and I literally drooled all over the floor when I learned that both of them would be releasing later this year. Rock Band always had the better soundtracks while Guitar Hero had the difficulty. I’m really excited about these games and I’ll be uploading videos regularly of myself playing them when they do release.

4. Xenoblade Chronicles X

Xenoblade Chronicles X reminds me of Phantasy Star and I think that’s why I’m so attracted to it. After watching a ton of gameplay I’m really interested in this game and I’m really glad I got a Wii U because I plan on getting this the day it comes out.  I think I should mention that the character creator looks really good and I plan on spending at least an hour making my protagonist.

3. Fire Emblem

We know next to nothing about the new Fire Emblem, but I’m already really excited about it. Fire Emblem Awakening is my favorite 3DS game. This new Fire Emblem game is going to be badass and this game alone is reason enough to go out and buy a 3DS. I highly recommend the new 3DS.

2. The Legend of Zelda

At long last I’m finally going to have a chance to play another Zelda game. The small clips that I’ve seen of it look amazing and the fact that it’s a huge open world for us to explore just might make this the best Zelda game ever made. Then again… it has some really good competition if it wants to take that title.

1. The Witcher 3

The Witcher 3

The Witcher is among my favorite games ever made. When I first got into PC gaming I made it a mission to play through the previous Witcher games. The Witcher 3 is probably the best looking game ever made. I’ve been waiting a really long time to finally get my hands on The Witcher 3 and my wait is almost over. Hurry up and get here already.

That’s my list folks. I almost made this a top 20 list, but I changed my mind at the last minute. What games are you looking forward to?

I’m looking forward to Fire Emblem, although I’m not a fan of them splitting the release into multiple games.

I read about that after I wrote this. It seems like they’re doing the Pokemon thing… I really hope the next Fire Emblem feels like a complete game without me having to buy both versions.

Pokemon tends to be the same game with different critters, to encourage trading. From what I hear the FE campaigns will be different so I don’t approve of the business model.

I didn’t really get into Zelda when I was younger, but more and more these days I quite fancy giving them a go, but only a little. Shame Nintendo does not make the games available on PC.

I don’t mind their games not being available on PC. I love my Wii U and I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on Zelda when it comes out :].

I do have a Wii, which I still enjoy, bit would rather play with people other than just play Mario Kart Wii by myself.

I can understand that. I only game with my wife these days. I use the big gamepad while she uses the pro controller. I don’t have Mario Kart or super smash yet. I’ll get them eventually .
