Many of you including myself have been experiencing major FPS, graphical, and numerous bugs since the release of Total War Rome 2. Here are a few ways to fix the lag in your game bought to you by Drakulus himself!
“If you’re having trouble running the game on higher settings even if you know your rig can handle it then lower them. The things that worked best was lowering shadows to medium, turning anti aliasing completely off, lowering the texture filter to a bare minimum, turning off Vegetation Alpha, and reducing the unit size down to large. Changing the Shader Model stopped the game from crashing and I was actually able to enjoy a few hours of gameplay yesterday. Another thing that really helped me out was running the game in compatibility with Windows 7 since I have a Windows 8 PC.”
Thank you Drakulus for bringing us that information and we hope it helps you guys be able to enjoy this game that you paid your hard earned cash for.
